Because the vocabulary layer is configurable per tenant, any trade whose core workflow is leads → proposals → invoices → payments plus inventory or scheduling can run on Foboma.

Does Foboma support Indian GST, PF, and ESIC compliance?

Yes. Foboma is GST-native — CGST, SGST, and IGST are computed correctly on every invoice. Payroll has PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax rules built in, and the financial year follows the Indian April–March cycle with auto-reset invoice numbering. UPI and NEFT are first-class payment modes.

During the 4-step onboarding wizard the admin picks a trade preset (Restaurant, Studio, Clinic, Tiffin, or Custom). Foboma then re-labels the sidebar, page titles, buttons, and modals accordingly — "Customers" becomes "Patients," "Materials" becomes "Ingredients," "Proposals" becomes "Treatment Plans." The product is one, the words are yours. Admins can fine-tune the vocabulary any time after setup.

Yes — being honest about this saves everyone time. Foboma is built for small and mid-sized Indian operators, typically one to around thirty outlets. If you need multi-country or multi-currency consolidation, heavy manufacturing BOM and routing, deep supply-chain optimisation, or a thousand-plus user hierarchy, you want SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics — not Foboma. Our sweet spot is the owner-operator who wants a clean, opinionated tool, not a platform to configure for nine months.
